Bittrex International, the European-based digital asset trading platform announced the listing for EOS. After the official post revealing the same, EOS was live on Bittrex international’s platform on July 3rd.
Announcing the latest development, one of the 21 extensive groups of Block Producers [elected delegates by the token holders that validates transactions of the network] that contributed for the EOS token to get listed on Bittrex, EOS New York tweeted,
EOS on @BittrexExchange! This is the result of many Block Producers on $EOS pooling time and resources, lead by @sheos_org starting back in 2018, which yielded the legal work product required to list #EOS. We are happy to have contributed to making this happen. #morethanblocks https://t.co/YNsNt9wucV

EOS listing on the trading platform of Bittrex’s Europe-based affiliate was open only for the non-US customers. Prior to this, cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex had announced blocking of its US-based users from trading in 32 cryptocurrencies from June 21.
EOS underwent a series of developments this year. The much-hyped Coinbase listing and the social media app roll-out, dubbed “Voice”, and the very recent EOSIO Consensus Protocol upgrade release which focussed on enhanced security and usability features had failed to prompt a positive price movement for the sixth largest digital asset by market cap on the cryptocurrency ladder.
